High volume all in one brewery with CIP function (ideas)

Yeah I was looking at these as well as the brewzilla etc. I might end up going with one of these modes. It’s a shame the g40 has upgrades that the g70 never had. The removal of the central pipe seems great. I’ve also been looking at the dark farm brew tank but to get it with all of the bits and...

High volume all in one brewery with CIP function (ideas)

Yeah I’ll either have to rope a neighbour in or I was going to fit either a pulley or a small electric winch to the rafters in the garage for that. Or do it myself and have a lie down for an hour afterwards 😂

Domed lid for SS Brewbucket 7 Gal

High volume all in one brewery with CIP function (ideas)

Does anyone know of what models of all in one breweries have 50 litre plus end batch size but also support cleaning in place. I have moved my brewing into the garage and I do not have a sink in there but I do have a drain outside. I was looking at something with a central bottom drain hole so I...

what is the best beer you have ever tasted?

Sorry to revive an old thread but I had one of those mixed packs of random beers (beer52 type thing) and there was a bottle of Edel ABK and I think that I was either extra thirsty or it was the nicest lager I have ever had! Im not a huge lager drinker but I enjoyed it very much!

    FA Cup

I'm not sure how Pep would alter the way City play with a key striker. If you have a team that is trying to utilise a player like Kane or Haaland then you lose the cutting edge elsewhere. The reason Liverpool have been successful lately is because there is about 7 people who seem to be...

Has anyone ever stripped the thread on a corny keg?

I have a torque wrench with a socket that fits my keg that I really should use. Ill have to work out a decent torque amount first.

Domed lid for SS Brewbucket 7 Gal

I've got the Brewkegtap version which I think is identical and I do have issues with that tap with NEIPAs and heavilly dry hopped west coasts. I'm going to fit my floating dip tube to the racking arm and see how that goes on my next brew! Its a cheaper and simpler option than buying a domed lid...

    FA Cup

I was shocked when I saw the starting 11. I was even more shocked when the same starting 11 come out at half time! I'm not a City fan but it does seem they are a team that copes brilliantly in league football but terribly when under any real pressure. Hence not winning the CL against a poor...

    What did you brew today?

I’ve never tried no chill but isn’t the cold break a very useful part of the brewing process?

Gravity still falling after 19 days

Might be worth putting some in a plastic bottle and feel it to see if it gets firmer. Is there still airlock activity? have you tasted it to make sure it’s not got some sort of infection?

The next Malt buy by the South Cheshire Co-operative

Seeing as I'm buying more and more 3kg malts with each order, does anyone have any cheap containers they can recommend to fit 3kgs of malt in? Going to make a nice shelf to put them on and the bags aren't ideal for long term storage.

The next Malt buy by the South Cheshire Co-operative

I think because it’s a group buy you might get away without the freezer. If they are already sold before you order them then you could package them in a vacuum sealed bag and they are going to be picked up within a few days. Then it’s upto the people ordering to collect promptly and freeze...

    New AEB cornies - pricey

I’m a big fan of all the kegland stuff. Seems to be the best range of home brewing products and all a decent price!

The next Malt buy by the South Cheshire Co-operative

I wish I had the storage space in the freezer. I get half a drawer in our fridge freezer unit in the kitchen at the moment haha. With this group buy I'm still good to collect on behalf of others and take to Ellesmere Port if that is easier for others to collect.
