I think so. In my current setup I use tinfoil over the grain bed when sparging to avoid overextraction at the top. Not sure about the elbow

60 min vs 90 min boils

Will be interesting if decent cold IPAs pop up. Maybe I've been unlucky so far, but everyone I've had so far has been a sulphur bomb, akin to that homebrew cider smell.

Wort chiller hose fittings, what am I missing?

Yeah, being able to brew outside with an AIO is a plus, wouldn't dream of it in today's weather though!

    Grain prices creeping up.

It also makes no sense to talk about supply side impact on prices alone, like every media article alludes to. In terms of demand, people have less disposable income this year, leading to consuming less beer, which has a downward impact on prices and margins, and much less beer will be sold as a...

    Grain prices creeping up.

Hops are expensive because last year's weather was calamitous. Yields for some hop strains down over 50%. Most of this harvest will go on contracts, leaving very little for the homebrewer on the spot market.

You know this, but if you are using tapwater then you'll need a fair bit of AMS/CRS to lower pH (depending on where you live. Not sure if excessive sulfate/chloride comes in then. If you use RO water, you will need very little to lower the pH.

Wort chiller hose fittings, what am I missing?

I'm yet to find a neat solution to this. I currently use jubilee clips, but have had issues with leakage here, and also the hosepipe fatiguing and splitting near the joint. So F.

    Verdant Putty

It's grassy and a bit hot. If you have cans, personally I'd wait a while. Massive aroma, tropical and stone fruit, just rather unrounded.

    Verdant Putty

Going to be dank and grassy I'd bet. I'm straight off to the pub after work so will be able to share notes too.

    How long do you ferment?

    Airlock issues

I wouldn't go as far as @Jan. but agree with the sentiment, FVs are notoriously leaky and you can get fermentation and no airlock activity. One of my buckets is like this. Alternatively, after dry hopping you can get airlock activity and no fermentation, due to Co2 nucleating on the hops. They...
