Starting with a quad at this time, I'm liking the dedication

My second beer I'm enjoying after my meal. A stout at 6%, I've only started appreciating darker beers recently but this is a really good stout. It poured really well and no sediment at all. The aroma definitely that of coffee and a subtle smell of cocoa. I wish I had a mug of this when I woke up...

My first is a black IPA, abv unknown which adds to the excitement. When first poured was quite lively but soon settled, not much sediment either. Huge aroma of citrus, I'd hazard a guess at citra and centinal? The flavour is malty and citrus hit with an interestingly moorish pinal after taste...

We going to have any morning reviews? I would but I have the responsibility of my son until other half finishes work then the beers will be drunk and reviewed but I need my fix of beer in the meantime, loved reading the reviews so far

Thank you very much this is more information than I could have hoped for, definitely going to invest in one from Wilko lol, how do you know when you've put enough CO2 in and finally is there any risk of a blow out with like you would with a fermenter?

It seems less hassle than bottling a 25litre batch, do you have to top up with co2 much in the 3 months if at all? Do you also prime the same way you would with bottles? Sorry for all the questions

Thinking of buying a pressure barrel, worth it? Does beer actually last a while in there (when not drinking it)?

Cherry wheat after 1 week in bottle and best fruit beer I've done so far, don't normally have much luck with fruit beers

Hi guys and gals, Need a bit of advice, I'm currently making a cherry wheat beer (little experience of fruit beers), I've added equivalent of 100g of cherries per litre of beer in primary, when I tried it I found it a little tart and dry on palate. I racked into my secondary with more cherries...

Haha either you did or me as I sent one too, maybe the combination of the two was too much. (I would feel bad if there is a genuine reason)

Glad you enjoyed it, sorry about the shredded paper was all I could find at the time to make sure it made it, I haven't heard from other person it was sent to so hopefully theirs is still in one piece
