I used a beer glass I suspect, it's very new I know and used what came with the coopers kit, I.e the carbon drops. The laser/widget thing sounds interesting, are they readily available? I'm quite liking this lol might have to buy another bucket! Edit: just did some goggling as my daughter...

Well, after several weeks in storage, I opened one of my coopers lagers... And I was quite surprised how nice it was, only been about 2 weeks secondary ferment and 2 hrs in the fridge! But quite pleased with the result, not being a great lager drinker, it doesn't taste any worse than some of the...

Thanks for the reply, think maybe I should search for the previous post that the recipe was based on, as it still can't see how those amounts add up 5ltrs.:confused:

Just seen the above and fancied giving it a go, but confused regarding quantities... I assume total should be 5ltrs to fill the Demi John, 1ltr rgj is fairly obvious is 1.5ltrs of Apple and blackcurrant - is that 1.5ltrs of each? Total 4ltrs and the rest made up with water to 5ltrs...

This beer brewing is quite an addiction! The good lady has managed to put a big dent in my wine producing efforts (between her and her sister) so I had to do something... And beer seemed to be the way to go.... The aromas from the bin are quite nice and seem to give me confidence I'm doing...
