Hi west wind I haven't tried the mj craft kits. Did you try it without the hops first and decided it needed them or was it a recommendation from a friend? Cheers Dicko

I have used crossmyloof in the past but I don't think I got my current cascade hops from them. The ones I have at the moment are not very citrus like at all so may order more from crossmyloof and do a proper comparison of the 2 kits. Cheers Dicko

Thanks terrym I actually had 100g but, I put 50g in a coopers canadian blonde with 500g light spray malt and 700g of sugar and brewed to 21L. It was nice but was looking for other ideas. I've never tried the AuPA so sounds a good option. Cheers Dicko.

I brew the European lager and I also have good results. I brew with 500g light spray malt and 700g of sugar and brww to 21l. At the end of fermentation I dry hop with 50g of saaz. It turns out very nice! Dicko

when I brew the coopers Mexican cerveza I use 500g of light spray malt and 700g of tate and lyle and brew to 21L. Then dry hop with 50g of Citra. Dicko.

Hi willshill I'm haven't made it up yet, hopefully today. I called in my lhbs to ask about the elderberries and I was told they no longer include them in the kit. Plus when they did it was only an egg cup full any way. Regarding the taste I'm told it's quite fruity! Cheers Dicko

Hi all I bought this kit today and on the box it says there are elderberries included. On opening the box the only extra addition is the oak dust. Anyone made this kit that can advise? Thanks dicko

Yeah I remember. I got them from Wilkos so possibly old stock. I picked up two kits and one had 2 packets the other one. Dicko
