I started this wine yesterday with the intention of making into a sparkling/Prosecco type wine, I saw the details on Love Brewing Web Site so thought I would give it a go, anyone one else done this? if so any thoughts or tips would be most welcome!

I bottled a brew a bit too early a few months ago but thankfully I put it into PET's so managed to burp the bottles a few times before drinking and it ended up as a fantastic beer!

I completely agree with David, the positives outweigh the negatives by far. I have a couple of corny's but always bottle unless I am getting ready for a party or Christmas etc. I also use mainly swing tops but also use PET's for checking on carbonation, i.e squeeze the bottle or when I run short...

Bottled my MYO IPA last Sunday and cracked open a bottle yesterday, Nice colour, Carbonation & taste, I think it just tastes young rather than a HB twang. I agree that the Wherry is far better but I think this will improve over the next couple of months!

Thats right Chippy. Scrap HS2 (not just because it will run 1/4mile from my house) and spend all the proposed money on the existing network and infrastructure, make platforms longer and put extra carriages on! Its not brain surgery!
