    Juicy TIPA Recipe Suggestions

Think that pretty much sums it up, looks as though you do a 2nd mash with thw first wort runnings....loads of adjuncts and dry hopping...sounds like a NEIPA on steroids

Triple IPA or Tasmanian? If the latter maybe just do an NEIPA but use all galaxy hops?

What's your view on Plastic Pressure Barrels (PBs)?

Personally i couldn't keep beer at my desire level of carbonation in them. Ive had 3 and all have had same problem. Ive followed forum recommendations (sanding down imperfections in the plastic, vaseline on the seals /o-rings / ptfe tape on threads etc etc) but beer just ends up flat in them...

What does 'Hazy' bring to the table

Question for you (or anyone who does / knows about multi-stage dry-hopping): If brewers of these beers are adding dry hops during peak (or slightly 'post-peak') fermentation then surely by the time you come to rack your beer, the hops have been in there for 9-10 days+ I was always under the...

The Wilko's stuff is back and available for online order. £2 per kg but £5 delivery....So I bought 3 kg of the stuff so that the cost of the product was more than the cost of delivery.

Best Star SAN Alternative including all new Chemsan

It should be below pH3, rather than at least pH3. In my own experience - Star San used to work fine with a pH of 2-2.5 after I added it to relatively hard water. However, I've since moved to a soft water area and the ChemSan I have seems to come in at around 2.5 - 3. This suggests to me that...

What does 'Hazy' bring to the table

Love a hazy beer (not for aesthetics) but only if it means it's a result of the adjuncts (adding to the mouthfeel and sweetness) and the use of lots of fruity hops. I'm not a fan of the hazy beers due to yeast. Historically (to me) it seemed that most brewers were of the opinion that dry...

    Apollo/Galaxy APA

If your columbus is unopened, maybe leave it and bitter with the Apollo, then use Galaxy for flavour /aroma (via late additions and dry hop)

A typical BIAB brew day for me, any advice?

In your opening paragraph you state "Finally I use the water treatment for beginners advice on here to calculate how much I need to adjust my alkalinity with using lactic acid".....now here's a question for the water treatment gurus (Strange Steve etc), I always thought you should reduce the...

Confused newbie - when to add hops!

depends on how quickly you can chill the wort and transfer to FV with the kit you have. If I chill with a wort chiller, it's prob circa 30mins

Confused newbie - when to add hops!

Adding them at the end of the boil (flame out) will add flavour without adding too much additional bitterness. It's generally considered to be beneficial!
