I feel a bit less daft now! Cheers for the pointer 🍻

    Malt Miller liquid punk.

...... Dammit..... Now I'm somewhat embarrassed. So used to having instructions included I didn't even think about looking on the website! Thanks ✌️

    Malt Miller liquid punk.

Really looking forward to getting this kit on the go. Was hoping to kick it off today, but unfortunately there were no instructions in the box, so it will wait until I have. The kit has got a lot of premium ingredients so I've high hopes of a damn good brew. It's my first go at a part grain...

    Part grain 1st kit thoughts?

This kit seems to tick a lot of boxes, any thoughts on it very welcome...

    Part grain 1st kit thoughts?

That's really useful and definitely what I was hoping I'd achieve. I've found a perfectly good 15l pot for £22 delivered, so that should be fine. Thanks, I'm really looking forward to trying this method!

    Part grain 1st kit thoughts?

Thanks, I figure it's a good compromise that is potentially a good way to add some of the finer flavours that I've not quite got from the extract kits. As much as anything it's a bit more to do on brew day to add to the enjoyment of the process. Seeing as I'm only missing the pan it's a cheap...

    Part grain 1st kit thoughts?

Hi all I've been looking at part grain kits after previously using extract kits, I've really enjoyed the brewing process so part grain gives the opportunity for more of that without having to get a load more kit. They look like better value in some ways as you get a lot of ingredients for very...

    Primo Porter recommendation?

I've done two IPA's and two Amber Ales and fancy a really good Porter, anyone got a firm favourite? I've not got the kit for AG, so an extract kit or recipe would be appreciated. Thanks y'all.

Rekon you are about on the money there chap.

Beerworks Founders Double American IPA & Sierra

The Founders has been a lot of fun so far. Kit is as full as it sounds and the malt mixing made the house smell awesome. It started fermenting about six hours after adding the yeast and just got more and more active until it was being pushed out of the airlock, so much so that it needed tea...

Need some advice on stuck fermentation

That's a relief eh! Fingers crossed it comes good.

    Air lock eruption

That's full on! Thankfully she died down before that, but I was getting worried for a while. Smells pretty awesome still.

    Air lock eruption

That's really good advice, I'll do that now. It would be criminal to waste such a nice kit. Thanks

    Air lock eruption

Thankfully it's slowed down, so less likely to cause beer wastage or divorce.

    Air lock eruption

Cheers chap, it's about the only excitement going at the moment!

Smells awesome! Wife doesn't necessarily agree.

    Air lock eruption

Started the Beerworks Founders yesterday lunchtime and by ten pm it had started fermenting with some conviction. By mid morning it turned into a frothy volcano and I've had to change the towel twice already. I'm figuring just leave it and it will settle down within a day or so? The other two...

Pandemic deliveries just not cutting it.

Just had two Beerworks kits delivered. One had the bag of glucose pierced, didn't realise this until I pulled it out and made the kitchen look like Santa's grotto. The other kit was mostly OK but the bag of citra lost its vacuum. Neither the biggest deal in the world, but annoying that I'll have...

Beerworks Founders Double American IPA & Sierra

Fingers crossed the Sierra will come good with some additional rest. I'm way too inexperienced to make any credible suggestions as to why it may be off the mark. The Founders should be with me by lunchtime, so as soon as work is done I'll be straight onto that one. Really looking forward to it...

    Towy Homebrew Club

Good stuff, I certainly will. I've just finished our first two kits and they are currently conditioning. (Young's American amber ale and Tiny Rebel, Cwtch) The Amber ale went really, I gaffed the Cwtch when I let it stall due to low temperature in the shed, won't be making that mistake again! I...
