Supermarket Juice Wine How To guide and Recipes.

Lol ok so you reckon 3 litres juice overall. I mean it sounds wierd but I just didn’t want it to be like too fruity, does that make sense? I made one the other day that was really nice and like tropical but it was heavy on the fruity flavours. I’m probably thinking bout this too much anyway...

How to be happy in 2021 (despite everything)

Ok 1. You mean slowly dissolve into a pit of insanity like a glorious Vincent Price Hammer horror? Help me out here was it the fall of the house of usher or the pit and the pendulum? I get them mixed up. So 2. Sexy? Jesus Christ I don’t think I ever feel that lol. I usually say I have a ‘radio...

    Brewday! 😬

I made some tinned strawberry wine a few months ago that tasted quite a lot like alcoholic Calpol. Dry though, can’t stand sweet wine. Maybe that would’ve been better if I’d blended it with rhubarb? Hmmm I can say though that rhubarb and gooseberry are most definitely good friends.

    Sake?

What does it taste like? And what is it’s general effect after a glass? The same as a wine glass?

Supermarket Juice Wine How To guide and Recipes.

So M and S do a litre bottle of apple (80%) raspberry (10%) and rhubarb (10%). My next plan is 2.5 litres of this and the usual extras per gallon. I was considering adding 500ml extra of apple juice but I’m concerned that it will start to lose the other flavours. What do we think? Also grape...

    Mushrooms

Thanks guys, I looked into foraging them at one point, and even joined a foraging thing on Facebook, although everyone seemed obsessed with Chicken of the Woods lol. Frankly the idea of having to take an educated guess at it being an edible one instead of knowing I grew a particular sort...

    Mushrooms

Hello, so as the title suggests I’m thinking bout mushrooms. I bought my girlfriend a chestnut mushroom growing kit for a laugh for Christmas, and its turned out pretty good so far, got some pretty big ones off it. Thing is, price wise, as far as the kits go it really is just a novelty thing...

    Positive only thread.

HA!! We bought a bird table like a week ago. Before I just had like a bucket lid with a rock on that I was putting random **** on for the birds cos I felt bad for them. But the neighbours cat kept sitting next to it, and I like zapped it a few times with an ultrasonic dog training thing but...

I was reading: Sort of a gothic ghost story, with a heck of a lot of sheep talk lol Now I’m reading: Which so far is as brilliant as his other books. Anyone who is familiar with the Discworld series and Vimes will not be disappointed.

    Raisins & Sultanas

I use sultanas in nearly all my wines, you can buy them quite cheap in Tesco. The ones I use are I think 59% sugar, and I usually put 500g in a 2 gallon batch. A lot better than buying grape concentrate in my opinion because they’re a lot easier to get hold of and cheaper.
