Hi. Just been looking at this recipe as its my next brew. Il be sticking as close to the recipe as possible but il be using the imperial juice yeast. My problem is the mash it says 66c for 25 mins. Has anyone done this and had success? Also do you use a protofloc in a NEIPA or skip it? Tia Al

I have a peco boiler for the boil kettle. A converted cooler for a mash tun and a stainless steel wort chiller as a herms coil sat in my hlt witch is the boiler from my t500 still plugged in to my pid for temp control. I am planning to use it on my next brew so i will report back

Iv been trying to come up with a blackcurrant and liquorice stout recipe for ages and looking at this i may give this a bash. Probably double up on the sweets and play about with the malts. Could even add some lactose to sweeten it up and a dry hop of some sorts Love to find out how this turns out

I get these from work from time to time at 20p a can for i think a 3kg tin (i could be wrong) and i make cherry brandy with it using vodka and sugar

I used a inkbird 308 with my peco which has the same element as this and it gets hot as hell. I think its only rated at 10 amps (i could be wrong) it would be cheaper to go els where

I bought a lager ag kit and did not realise that the grains were un crushed so i blitzed in the blender and brewed a 3% lager that was suposesto be 5.5%

Just be careful when filling not to press the co2 button by accident and also just check it over mine sticks open some times
