Going to Swap to a Corny Keg

I have 6 of the cheaper ones. I also bought a few packs of the replacement seal kits. However after a good disassemble scrub and reassemble I am yet to need even one new seal. All 1work perfectly and seal up nicley. I probably got lucky though as I have read about others having difficulty...

    Corny Kegs again

    1. Just enough to seal the lid shut. I normally do that with about 30 psi. Then I would vent and refill with gas 4 or 5 times to purge out the oxygen. 2 it will last month's like that, pale hoppy beers will slowly loose the hop profile (drink them up fast) strong, dark beers and ciders will get...

    Dry yeast...best for...

When I worked at a microbrewery (west yorkshire) we started using mainly S-04 but switched to using US-05 exclusivley. Could litrally save half an hour a day just on how long it took to clean the FV. I will add we mainly brewed pale hoppy beers so we liked the clean profile from the US-05

New fridge model for 3 corney fridge

Same size as mine, I would think they would easily fit in the fridge I posted however I don't know about an under counter, the compressor step will make it tricky. Someone else who has this setup needs to advise as I don't want to give you a say a fridge and than the kegs not fit. Good luck I...

    Spec me an element.

I don't notice any scorching in my beers, from my experience you tend to get that scorching/slightly burnt off flavour if you let your elements get build up on them. This has not happend with my homebrew and only happened in the commercial brewery I used to work in. I'm not sure weather that...

Busy times from home brew shops

I'm not sure, I came across it while looking for cheap highland delivery. If memory serves correctly I didn't order because it was more expensive than THBC, I don't remember how much more expensive it was just that it was more

You're stuck in quarantine with only one group / composer.

If I had to choose just one I'd probably go for Pink Floyd

Busy times from home brew shops

I don't think THBC charges a "highland premium" also (although I have not used them) an Edinburgh brew shop also dose not put on any extra premium for highlands.

    Strange Keezer Issue

Only other thing I can think of would be to try a differnt disconnect on the keg if you haven't already. Maybe there is something going on with that that causes an issue.

    Strange Keezer Issue

This is a little odd, could it be a problem in the keg (have you had different kegs of beer go though that line) Is one of the fittings perhaps letting some gas into the system, are the lines all cut flush and not at a slight angle (this could affect how it seats it the fitting. Can you measure...

New fridge model for 3 corney fridge

What size are your cornys. The taller thinner ones or the shorter fatter ones, this one would probably do you but I can't guarantee it...

    Spec me an element.

Not sure these two statement go hand in hand, good luck on the move back to Leeds, that's my old stomping ground and where I cut my brewing teeth. Some great brewery's and beer in Yorkshire

    Spec me an element.

@Gerryjo makes a good point. I am lucky that I had my electrics put in to meet my brewing needs. As I later added another element I do briefly (10-15 mins) run two elements off the same ring. However I am getting another ring put in, it's just taking a while due to lockdown.
