    What did you brew today?

-5 C today in my part of the world. 45 mins into the boil and I can hardly see my glass in front of my face.

    Fermenting

Have you taken a hydrometer reading? It may well be fermenting fine. But no harm in giving the fermenter a gentle swirl to get the yeast in suspension.

    What are you drinking tonight.

Things went off the rails after this. Feeling a bit wobbly for my brewday today...

    What are you drinking tonight.

A Triple Neipa, 10.2 %. Silky, hoppy, juice bomb, with only a hint of alcohol heat. Crazy name, though : Sparklepuff, Galaxy Starfighter Defender of the Universe.

    Fermenting

+1 to what @terrym said. Also, 400 gms is a massive dry hop for a 22 litre batch, so the bubbles in the airlock could just be from all the nucleation sites for CO2 that is causing. Bottom line, the only way to know if fermentation has stopped is if you have a stable gravity reading for 3 days...

    AG#4 bitter thingymebob

You'll have to wait and see, I'm afraid. Band aid flavours are most often associated with phenols, though, and unlikely to fade. But what's the harm in giving it a few weeks or months to find out?

    What is Grainfather for?

    Wouldn't that be a Grainmother? ;)

    What is Grainfather for?

You my have answered your own question here. I bought the Robobrew, figured it was more or less the same cost as all the stuff you mentioned, has a bit of automation to simplify the brew day, and stores away easily.

Fermentation going like the clappers, help..

According to the White Labs web site, the attenuation for WLP013 is 67-75%, so it is not likely you will get an FG much below 1014, which would be 76%. I would just follow the kit instructions, and toss the hops in on day 4.

What is your favourite yeast for a bitter?

Another +1 for West Yorkshire yeast. I have also had good results with Wyeast 1968 (Fullers), and recently tried 1275 (Brakspear) - that one is conditioning now, first taste will come later this week.

Should be fine. Enthusiastic fermentations usually are.

    Best commercial beer 2

Yes, it is from Unibroue, a Quebec brewer. Probably the one of the first Canadian craft brewers to get noticed internationally. McAuslan is another really good brewery from the Montreal area, not sure if their products are available abroad yet. Sadly, no longer independent - Sapporo bought...

Help Me Convince My Husband that NEED corny kegs

Yep, that's why I bought the Robobrew myself. Seems my joke fell flat. On this side of the pond "GF" is shorthand for girlfriend.

First DIY brew recipe (pull it apart!)

I don't brew "big beers", tend to keep them under 6% ABV. Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in with some guidance on appropriately hopping them, and if a single malt comes across as too warm. Or, you could go ahead and brew it and let us know! ;)

First DIY brew recipe (pull it apart!)

I'm too new to the hobby to be providing recipe advice, but I can say I did a Maris Otter Citra SMASH recently that is the best beer I have made. For a 20L batch, staggered 60 grams in the boil (most of it late additions, similar to your schedule) and 90 grams dry hop. But I think what you...

    Cleaning immersion chillers.?

I just clean it well after use. Sometimes a quick rinse before dunking it in the beer for chilling, often not. No issues yet. The boiling wort will sterilize any bits of stuff if may have picked up since last use. As long as you aren't storing it in a skip, you shouldn't worry too much...

    Reusing yeast???

Yes, that is the usual method.
