    Air escaping

Started my first ever Beer brew yesterday, problem is air lock is not bubbling, I think air must be escaping from elsewhere, I have a hole for air lock and one with a bung for heater,I have tried rapping cling film around to make it air tight but not sure it worked. The brew itself is bubbling fine.
