I'm on with my second turbo cider now after a successful first batch I just used Aldi apple juice and lalvin ec-1118 yeast . It turned out at 4.9% and quite dry ,but to my taste.

after being in this hobby all of two minutes iv ordered a peco biab starter kit from hbc for £80 which seams a bargain as ag grain is the way I think I would like to go n this seams to b a good/cheap way to get into it anybody had any experience of these kits good or bad ( maybe a bit late to...

eh up popeye1980 after 3 weeks ish int bottle im not really impressed but that is probably my own doing as I did not clear it properly (school boy error )(did not leave it long enough or in the cold)but im sure it would be ok if done right . how about your merlot ?

hi all looking at the king Keg top tap barrel as it sounds a good system with its integral float system but is it all sales shpeel are the normal barrels better or is it a much of a muchness cheers

Cheers guys Pretty sure it had stopped fermenting it had been in fv for 15 days and had a steady gravity reading for the last two but it is definitely pressurised as the barrel is swelling up
