    Who's Brewing tomorrow?

So my day was eventful. I don't have anything to heat sparge water so I used the brewzilla and pumped it into cool box to keep warm. I had no idea how long it would take to heat to sparge type temp, I had set timers to get it on the go at 10am but by time that heated and then I heated strike...

    What's with the barrel avatars?

The barrels are a nicer image than anything I could offer.

    Scottish blog

Well when the lockdown started it all seemed fun and doable. Now that things are creeping back to normal I am not sure I would manage.

    Brewstore Continental Lager

Hi All. First AG coming up. Bought the Brewstore continental lager recipe kit, I am a victim of lockdown and lack of ingredients available, but honestly I enjoy a lager so I did my reading to give me the best chance of it succeeding. I have a fermentation chamber setup to keep it cool as that...

    WANTED - Temp Controller

Hi there. Final bit of kit for fermenting chamber needed. Looking for an Inkbird or something similar. Looking for the type you can plug the chiller and heater onto directly (no rewiring like the stc-1000). Plently available online but I'm hoping someone can post quicker than the online...

The link above meets what I had and the ingredient profile so I'm happy to go for it.

    California Connoisseur instructions

In the chaos of the current lockdown, I've misplaced the instructions from my california connoisseur pinot noir kit. I've seen the online instructions but I'm not convinced that they're the same. Certainly different visually. Does anyone have a kit to hand that they could attach a pic or two...

FV with a tap or not?

I was disappointed to get a FV this week with a pre drilled hole. I think the store did it and it is too low in the bucket in my opinion. Also the tap didn't include the sediment restrictor but buyer beware on that. Also surprised that there aren't buckets with a flattened section for adding the...

    Carboy or bucket?

I have just received my first wine kit, excited to get going. QUestion I have is, the instructions say to rack it into a carboy, at the moment I have two 'bucket' type FV's and was planning to go from one to the other. Does the Carboy have some magic powers that make it the better implement...

    Scottish blog

Anybody fancy starting a Scottish based blog, a few I looked at seem a bit dead. I'm thinking about blogging about beers made in Scotland, about making beer up here and anything else beer and brewing related.

    Brewuk....online shop

Did your order status ever change from processing? I also ordered on the 6th and got an email answer from them saying they were processing the orders from the 2nd a couple of days ago. Today mine was still processing.

    Brewzilla 3.1.1

Yeah I did order mine last week too, managed to grind together the missing beans and just got it done. Need to save up for some grains so it doesn't become an ornament.
