I've done my last four brews no chill. Leave it overnight in my Braumeister with the lid on, adjust temperature in the morning before transfer to FV. For me there's no downside at all. Brian

I bought a second hand three tap pedestal on here for about £30. Took the taps off and easily fitted them on my keeper collar.

It’s a pressure release valve, no need to touch it as far as I’m concerned. If you’re using the connectors on your keg, if using Cornies, have a stop valve built in so the gas pressure remains in the line. You can connect and disconnect while pressure is on line.
