As a quick comparison, they do Maris Otter 4kg @ £15.99 compared to Geterbrewed 5kg @£8 ish.

2 posts close together (Tues @8.23 & 8.24) have messed up the total. I make it 8118L If someone else could check that please.

Trying my @Hazelwood Brewery best bitter after 2 weeks in the barrel. Crystal clear, smooth, and very drinkable @5.6%. A really nice pint, this is going to be a regular brew.

First look at my @Hazelwood Brewery Best Bitter. Only been in the barrel for 3 days, but looking (and tasting) pretty damn good. Thanks for the recipe, I can see this becoming a firm favourite. Came out @ 5.4%

Yes, their 'customer service' is not the best, but it has slowly improved lately. If they are in stock you should get one OK, it tends to be the pre-order that get delayed (especially if going through the Suez Canal ;))

The sight glass does both, after you have added your water you need to run the recirc to 'prime' the sight glass. Mine reads 1L over the actual amount in the machine, which is no big problem.

The Hopcat 45L MK3 does have a sight tube. It's on the pump/recirc part.

What temp have you kept them at? for the 2 weeks.
