    CO2 supplies

Sorry! I realise the chiller is probably for brewing temp control rather than to serve through, that makes more sense in relation to the other bits you mentioned

Why are you going for a chiller over a keezer or a kegerator? Just interested in other peoples plans and set ups. What sort of beers do you brew?

Best bet is to search 'cellar gas' and your town on Google and call a few local places. You'll pay between £10 and £45 for a 6kg fill, and anything from free to £100 for a 6kg canister (personally I'd avoid renting a canister as can mount up, works out better for pubs etc. But your local deal...

    Hop Club/Mashed! Magazine

Is Mashed magazine still going? The website hasn't been updated for a while. The hopclub looks fun, but I'd rather pick the hops I want, and use well more than 500g a year, and I don't even brew that much

How much of this starter to pour off ?

Personally, I poor about 90 percent of the beer, and then swirl the remaining 10 percent with the solid yeast and use that, so I'd follow the same again here if you were building higher - but that is just personal opinion, I'm still a starter at starters!

    Starter question

Did it over power the stir plate?

    Pressure Fermenting?

I pressure ferment 'lager' in a spare corny keg, the beer I get is great, very very drinkable and goes grain to glass in under two weeks. I still brew ipas the 'traditional' way, but if I had the kit I would. Brewing in a Corny means I get less that 16 litres in the final keg.

Thoughts on this Imperial IPA (ish) recipe

For awareness, ended up using just 400g of smoked malt and topping up with dme. Of the smoked malt I washed half and put the other half in late in the mash. Tastes amazing.

    Brewferm variety mixtures...

Sounds great. I love a very hoppy beer and found if I leave it more than three days between hopping and keg/bottling I loose some of the punch u want, but obviously totally down to the flavours you are looking for. Anyway, enjoy, they sound lovely!

    Brewferm variety mixtures...

Sounds good - I used to love a twocan - brewing that short with two cans will give strong flavours, but that is no bad thing. I wouldn't personally transfer, but each to their own - I used to and never had any issues, I just don't bother to now. Would you dry hop ahead of transferring, or...

I have some leftover hops and malt I need to use - challenger, Sabro and Chinook...

Sounds great. I recently did a lager with challenger and was lovely.

    Courage Best (Muntons) Brew Kit

Not heard of a kit like that (but I only brewed a few kits). I assuming by bottling the beer while it is 'live' you will take more yeast into the bottle, giving it a deeper yeast flavour?

    Brewlab yeast slope starter

I'd personally say should be OK - I did a 1065 beer before with just one starter - but I did make a litre of starter for that. But just the one.
