Hop Club/Mashed! Magazine

Are there any hop club members or mashed! Magazine subscribers out there who can give me their views on membership of either one?
Both sound interesting but could only find 1 review and it was bad.

Is Mashed magazine still going? The website hasn't been updated for a while. The hopclub looks fun, but I'd rather pick the hops I want, and use well more than 500g a year, and I don't even brew that much

I’m a member in my second year. The Magazine is interesting for the most part and the hops are good too, get some I’ve never heard of which makes it interesting.
I usually use them for extract or SMaSH brews as well as making hop water.
Some come with a recipe in mind from within the magazine of which you can buy the grain only kit from them.

The 10% discount is handy for their shop but not something I use a great deal as I already have bought most stuff I need from them, good beer kits, especially the west coast red.
Just very limited.
For the price I’m generally happy with it.
