From what I can establish i'm thinking that although the anticipated ABV is 11%, based upon the sugar content of a 4.5l DJ, that in this case at least two of the OPs "DJs" were only 3.5l so would increase the ABV. Sadly with no starting gravity the only other way to work it out would be with a...

I made this last year with 1 litre Red grape juice 1 litre Apple Juice 1 litre Prune Juice Turned out great. ABV was nearly 16% I think.

I made the Merlot kit, as per the instructions. It worked out pretty well. More a dark rose than a red, but quite nice even if I say so myself 👍
