Hi I've just recieved my order for ag 5kg Belgian ipa kit. I'm gonna try my first brew at the weekend and I've realised I've forgot to buy a thermometer to test how hot the strike water is and for the boil. Can I use a normal thermometer or do I need some sort of special one? The other question...

Hi, that's what I'm a bit worried about if my stove can actually boil that much liquid. My plan is to eventually buy an all in one towards the end of the year after I've got a few brews under my belt so I don't really want to spend a lot on equipment at the moment. The bigger pan I get i think...

Thanks. I have thought about a bigger pan still but up to now I will only using my oven top to make it so don't know if that's powerfull enough for anything bigger. Cheers.

Hi just a quick question. I'm ordering a pan for the 5litre AG brew but was thinking of doing a10l brew aswell in the future so would a 15 litre pan be big enough for that? Cheers.
