Ahh sorry, the version I have is a crown capping one, not a screw top one, so they get a bit squished under the capper. Maybe I should try the screw cap kind, but I only use a few anyways.

I have a few to use as I bottle condition and I like to see when I'm carbed up. But I find them generally a pain in the neck (ha) to cap, so not in general use for me.

You know when your beers are starting to get a bit funky and you don't mean them to go that way? And you get slated in competition because there was most likely an underlying infection? (Ohhhh is that what that flavour is??!?! Like it wasn't horrible at all ,but once you taste it you go 'OHHH'...

If you want plastic, the Coopers PET ones are much better. I think they even have a screw cap version. I didn't like them much, but keep a few around for checking if bottles are carbonated. I struggled along with a hand capper for years, but after getting an absolute kicking at a competition...
