Brewfather is actually a very good piece of software, I’ve used it a lot. I don’t know why anyone would criticise it, it’s not for everyone and not perfect, but it is very customisable and user friendly.

Has anyone used one of these with the ‘old style’ 19l kegs that are wider and shorter than the new one? I use those type and am wondering if these plaato scales work because they seem smaller than the width of the keg.

Yes when you have a ‘Batch’, in the ‘Fermenting’ section, if you select ‘Devices’ it will show up any ispindels you have connected, then you can attach them to that batch and it shows the graph.

Nice setup. So do you cold crash and use a filter on the floating dip tube and then that stops hops getting transferred into keg? I put hops in a bag right now but wondering if I need to bother with that.
