    Mini regulator gaskets

Hi, I have this mini regulator, bought from Malt Miller. It worked for a while, but new bulbs now leak from the bulb-side venting hole. The Malt Miller doesn't sell replacement gaskets, I've found some on US stores (and copies on Ali Express), but can't find any from UK suppliers. Does anyone...

Mini keg vs growler vs cannonball / mini corny

Hi, Thanks for the help. I tried again tonight (after contacting maltmiller to see if there were specific instructions for the regulator). It seems that, with the valve open then all is good, but if I try to shut the valve then I get a leak out of a small hole just below the knob adjuster of...

Mini keg vs growler vs cannonball / mini corny

Finally got to fill the cannonball today with a neipa. Decided to purge the headspace and failed with two separate co2 bulbs. Both times, by the time I'd screwed the bulb into the regulator I'd lost most of the co2 from the bulb. Is it just a case of "work quickly", or maybe I'm doing something...

Mini keg vs growler vs cannonball / mini corny

Really helpful, thanks! I spent a while trying to find out how much co2 was in a sodastream canister but failed. I'd read that its hard to maintain low pressure with cheaper regulators but, as I plan to secondary in the cannonball like you, I think I'll go with the universal regulator linked...

Mini keg vs growler vs cannonball / mini corny

Any idea how that compares with other options (16g, s30 cylinders etc)? A tenner per sodastream refill makes that sound a little pricey, no? Regarding regulators, any recommendations? Given the aim for this to be portable and not heavily used I like the look of this...

Mini keg vs growler vs cannonball / mini corny

Thanks for the info. I ended up buying the (ebay ... knockoff?) cannonball, so I guess I should go for a party tap and some hose (it's going to be used out and about, so I want either a tap direct on the outlet or something portable). Can anyone recommend the best setup? Or would it be better to...

Mini keg vs growler vs cannonball / mini corny

Yeah, that's what I looked at - it seemed like the regulator would be removable (at least, there's some kind of connector between the cap and the CO2) but the tap appeared integrated. Whereas other models have a ball valve connector for the tap.

Mini keg vs growler vs cannonball / mini corny

FWIW, the colleague who has the cannonball corny keg got his from ebay (https://bit.ly/2uNlruy), he hasn't had any issues with his and it's under £60. 27cm tall means it won't quite fit in my fridge without removal of some shelves :(. ... but, if I were to get one, I've read that you need some...

Mini keg vs growler vs cannonball / mini corny

Is the tap on the full £125 setup integrated into to cap? I'm guessing this is why it's cheaper - the malt miller version has ball lock connects that might make it more adaptable in the future. Does anyone have experience with this tap? It doesn't have flow control so am wondering if it's...

Mini keg vs growler vs cannonball / mini corny

Thanks for the help, I'm still leaning towards the growler setup - it looks like there're a few different dispense lid configurations, some of which would still be compatible with the dream of a full corny setup....

Mini keg vs growler vs cannonball / mini corny

No worries, a colleague of mine has one and is very happy with it. If you have the rest of the gear already then the 9L cornies are pretty much the same price (I was considering the smaller cannonball because of batch sizes and my fridge).

Mini keg vs growler vs cannonball / mini corny

Hi all, I've been bottle or cask conditioning all my beers to date and, like many others, want to move to kegging but have space constraints. I brew 30L batches, split with two others (who have both just got mini kegs), and am also planning on doing some 5L stove-top batches. I can't really fit...
