    I think my brand new demijohn has just cracked!!!!! WTF!!!!! It has only been fermenting for a few hours and it appers to be leaking. Am far from impressed. It's all done correct I got a bung with a air lock hummmmm wilkinson might be getting a ear bashing tomorrow me thinks

    Cool beans that sound easy enough, is will have a tap on the bottom to :-) I wernt sure if it would get hot enough but as u said disconect the statt lol job done well that's one stage sorted.     I am going to build a ag set up in the near future (very near) and I want to build a real scrap heap challange job loli want it to be a 100% beg, borowed or stolen effort lol it will make my beer taste that much better being 100% homemade lol right would a old tea urn do as a boiler?

    So leave it in the fermentation barrel a extra week? Or syp in to a pressure barrel leave 4 week then bottel? Lol sorry I just wanna get it right the best I can lol

    Right I just been to the supplier and got my first wine kit, it's a beaverdale Chablis blush and a little bottle of sweetener just in case she don't like it. It's only a 1 gal kit so we will see how this goes! Oh I see a 5 gal vodka kit in there argggggggggggg

    Well that's settled bottles are the way to go, I think I'll try a little bit in the keg just to see what happens. I have been pointed to 1/4 a t spoon of sugar in each bottle have we got any advances on this?

    It's a 5 gal clear plastic keg with the co2 port in the top. Do u think I will get poor results? Would it be better to go straight to the bottle with a t spoon of sugar?

    What about the barrel going in the fridge? Will this help to clear it? I got a co2 kit so do I charge my lager in the barrel with the co2 then transfer it to bottels from there? How long should I leave it in the barrel/bottels b4 guzzeling the lot lol

    i dont wanna get greedy and make hundreds of gallons of cider then it taste like battery acid lol :sick:
