    Damn scoundrels!!

After extolling the generosity of the Great British public with their efforts on supplying me with free bottles, it appears that one of them has turned into a light fingered rogue and stolen my bottle box from beside the bottle bank! The box itself had a hole in it so its not like it was any...

    Milestone Black Pearl Review

Another couple of weeks on chaps and this has improved again, the head seems to have become creamier and slightly darker- not quite draught pulled but not as foamy as first sample and the head retention has definitely improved, don't quite know why. This had turned into a jolly nice pint...

    Wherry worries - floaters

When you syphon into a secondary if you use a syphon with a sediment trap all that is floating on the top will be left in the bottom of the primary Hope that makes sense. :hat:

    Wilkinsons Golden Ale

I primed mine with 18 teaspoons of lme but I brewed it short to 21L. The head is really creamy and if i'm honest there is a little too much so next time i will reduced it a little. in fact there is a pic of my brew further back in this post. :hat:

    Re: Festival Razorback IPA Review

Have just got mine going, I've done it as the instructions, it is now sitting in my water bath at 22c. The SG was a sturdy 1048 so looking good, Will also post with how it has gone. That looks a cracking colour Maffa, I didn't expect it to be that light! :hat:

    Wilkinsons Golden Ale

Well all I can say Mickey is that mine has turned out Fab, it has a really creamy head possibly a little too much but i don't mind that, i've got another 2 golden ale kits waiting in the wings so there is proof it hit the mark. I think mine is definitely above 4% had 2x 500ml bottles tonight...

    Brewferm Tarwebier Review

I had it in my water bath at a steady 20c for the primary, for the secondary i syphoned into a clean fv and just let it stand on a shelf in my cellar at about 13-14c for 2 weeks :hat:

    Wilkinsons Golden Ale

I batch primed mine with light spray malt i used 18 teaspoons and i'm sure it would be the same amount if using sugar, it came out with a cracking head ( see my pic posted further back ). I brewed mine short to 21L so you may have to adjust that figure if you went for the 23L :hat:

    Double kit brewday

I can understand how somethings come about, but at what point did someone think 'i know what this beer needs some tomato puree' Wonder what other strange things have been used - any whole grain mustard in a wherry, a dash of worcester sauce in your stout? :hat:

    Brewferm Tarwebier Review

Brewferm Tarwebier, I bought this kit as I do like Belgian beers and after a recent jaunt over to Brugge which saw me stocking up on Leffe blonde and Brugge Zot I fancied a go myself. I brewed as the instructions, the kit makes 15L and i used 750g of candi sugar ( which is a swine to dissolve...

    Best Wheat beer/Witbeer?

The candi sugar was purchased from the local home brew shop, so I would think any shop that sell Brewferm Kits will have it. Alternatively I think there is a guide to make your own in here.

    Best Wheat beer/Witbeer?

I've recently done the Brewferm Tarwebier which has turned out really well, it is nice and light with a good flavour. i made it with 750g candi sugar as the instructions suggested, so i had to buy 2x 500g bags. I think the kit was about £13.50 so with candi sugar was under £20. Only draw back...
