    Angram pump question

    How are you feeding the angram? If the beer is pressure fed from a corny under co2 then it would have a similar life to the beer still left in the corny as its still protected from the air....even better if its got the water jacket and being cooled and the corny is cooled then even...

    brew cupboard chilling ideas please?

    Whilst at Alemans last week he showed me his ferm that was temp controlled, he was using a cooling coil run by a small flash cooler and was run by an atc........looked spot on to me!!

    Emptying a Maxi Cooler

    I just take the overflow bung out and gently tip forward, gradually increasing the angle! You just have to make shure you dont tip to far forward or it will overflow onto the internal electrics!! :thumb:

    My Hop frame, with Hops and now harvested

    My old man still does this now but just uses farmyard manure. He also soaks nettles in water....loads ov em, reckons there rich in nitrogen which they release as they rot!! And to be fair ALL his stuff grows like crazy!! I'll get some pics next time im there! :thumb:

    Fair play.....I always thought the cask breathers were sealed....and in Moleys 3rd pik theres a hole on the underside for the diaphram! jus had a look at my breathers and there slightly different but again have the hole lol :roll:

    That doesnt look like a cask breather or 'aspirator'....it is a check valve that goes inbetween the beer engine and the cask, in the beerline itself......it stops the beer bieng swilled back into the keg and disturbing the sediment on the return stroke, its a pretty standard piece of kit with...
