    Aquarium heater

Would an aquarium heater suffice instead of a heater belt or tray as they can be bought cheaply and can digitally set. I use a heater tray but it could be good for people on a tight budget.

    Bottle question

I have wine in the fridge which i am due to consume this evening, and i am looking to keep the bottle and re use it. The bottle is the screw cap, can i re use the cap and put a shrink on it, or just use a cork, as the thread on the bottle isnt really that bad, and its only for personal use and...

    A little Tip

Started the wine kit the other night and I am using plastic demijohns. When you boil the kettle to dissolve the sugar, let the water cool a fair bit because when you pour it into a plastic demijohn it shrinks and goes out of shape.

It then states to wait around 3 days before topping up the water. then wait from 7 to 20 days for...

    Plastic or glass demijohns

Thanks for advice guys. Just another thing, i read that the normal water bottles shouldnt be re used, like if you take one to the gym for weeks on end as the chemicals in the treated water from the tap react with the plastic making the bottle unuseable. just wondered how this would fair with...

    Plastic or glass demijohns

That is exactly what i intend to do, the water i got was from Lidl, it was 89p for the gallon, i got grommets etc so it seems a nice economical way. They also have a little handle which makes life easy. Thanks for the info.
