the john bull cider kit says add 1kg of sugar 18l for a stout or 23l for a normal brew what would happen if i add 1.5kg to 23l would this make any difference as in will it raise the abv.

i have just bought a john bull country cider kit but i am abit confused with step 3 about adding the nutrient as it has a cider yeast and a nutrient sachet. so do i add the nutrient or cider yeast of both. any help wud be handy.

i have stated a batch of magnum pear cider this is what it looks like after 2days it looks very differnt from the strewberry 1 i did. is this normal

i have bottled my cider 5days ago with half a teaspoon of sugar for secondary fermentation should i be seeing any visable signs of secondary fermentation

at 1000fg will the % AbV of my cider kit be 0.2ish % AbV and when i bottle and add the sugar and leave it for 10days will the % AbV be at the 6 mark

its just a plastic tray that was laying about. i have just bought a new hydrometer and it says on it when to bottle :P when i have racked it off can i just bottle it right after. :?:

i started my kit on the 23rd of july and there is still a few bubbles coming up it say it takes 7-9 days do i need to wait till there is no more bubbles before i bottle it.
