I have a golden ale kit from wilko. I want to try adding some real hops to it. Firstly at what point do I add them? Also what could I add to make a sort of American pale ale? One of the c's? Thanks

Im just bottling my Wilkos Mexican Cerveza and looking to start an ale next. Im looking for a kit which is a golden ale, similar to Moorehouses Blond Witch or similar golden/light ales. can anyone recommend anything? cheers

It's about 18c

So after 7 days I've not really had any major frothy action so thought of investigate and do a hydrometer reading. It's currently at 1.010 so I presume something has happened! I'll check it again midweek to see if anything changes.

as my first brew i am doing the Wilko own brand cerveza kit. I've had it in the FV since Monday morning (so approx 48hrs) and there seems to be tiny little bubbles fizzing on the surface but no major bubbling or foam on the top like ive seen in pictures? is something wrong or is this normal...
