    Spectrum Liquid hops

I've played around with them on a few brews and I have to say I'm a big fan. I add them close to yeast pitch though, and blend up with some wort in my Nutri-ninja. Means I don't have to worry about oxygen and they get really well dissolved. Huge reduction in losses and some really hoppy beer...

    Oats

Never heard of this, interesting. I had read (I think in the book I mentioned above) about someone proving it could be done as an experiment for one of the brewing journals but I had no idea it qas a legit style. I'd be interested to try it but maybe not brew a whole 19L of it!

    Oats

Yes, it is a bit - particularly in the dark beers

    Oats

In my opinion, no! But it's all subjective at the end of the day. It would be boring if we all liked the same thing 😁 The first time I had one of those beers I was blown away by how creamy and soft it was. I've been using higher oats ever since. Obvs there us more to a soft body than oat...

    Oats

NEIPA - more oats for super soft/creamy moutfeel. Fantastic if you want a really thick, creamy stout also. Perhaps not for everyone! Basically, i've been doing it ever since I had one of these beers. https://otherhalfbrewing.com/beer-styles/oat-cream-ipa/

    Oats

There is some evidence (see Scott Janish's NEIPA focussed book) that when using large quantities of oats, malted oats reduce risk of oxidising in the beer (vs standard flaked oats). Malted oats are also much easier to use in very large quantities. I moved from supermarket porridge oats to malted...

    Robobrew and Grainfather false bottom

Hi, i have the robobrew false bottom but am unsure about correct installation. When I try and place it on the bottom of the Grainfather the piece of yellowish material that wraps around the circumference at the bottom of the grainfather gets in the way. I think this is just there to support the...
