    Recommend a Stout kit?

I've tried Edme's Superbrew Gold Irish Stout and was very pleased with the outcome. I've Sampled Milestone's Black Pearl also, didn't think it was that much better than my Edme kit. Can anyone recommend anything else that's tried both of the above?

    Brupack kits, any good...?

Thinking about giving one of these a go. Any tried? Any recommendations upon which kit to try?

    Cooper's Mexican Cerveza....?

I've heard that beer enhancer doesn't make that much of a difference with these lager kits...?

    Cooper's Mexican Cerveza....?

Sounds a bit high to me too. I know I probably shouldn't but I leave mine at room temp around 21-23 c. Never had any issues, but always room for improvement.

    Cooper's Mexican Cerveza....?

Agreed. I did their European Lager and Canadian Blonde. The European Lager certainly improved with cold maturation. The Canadian Blonde did also, but not quite as tasteful as the other.

    Cooper's Mexican Cerveza....?

Any one tried this? I've done Morgan's Cortes Cerveza, is this one similiar?

    Finlandia Cider...?

Not too bad actually. I think the kit is a bit pricey considering it doesn't make a full fourty pints, consdiering it's possible to buy it for around the same or slightly less. I found it tastes like Idris or that Jamaican stuff, quite pleasant. Unfortunately it didn't reach the recommended...

    Woodforde's Norfolk Nog....?

Just about to get this one in the fermenter. Any good...?

    Woodforde's Wherry?

Cheers! I've noticed Woodforde's kits never seem to get that low with the S.G. mine was around 1.014 for both Wherry and Great Eastern Ale. :wha:

    Morgan's Blue Mountain Lager...?

Takes a while for the taste to improve?

    Woodforde's Nelson's Revenge

Any good? Just barrelled today. As good as the Wherry?

    Morgan's Blue Mountain Lager...?

    Brewferm Gallia....?

Anyone tried this one? What can I expect?
  16. T

    Cooper's Canadian Blonde?

As stated, I too have found the taste quite mild. What else did I expect though. :wha: Not a bad brew, glad I've tried it. Still got a bit of that homebrew yeasty taste in there though. :?

    Brewferm Tarwebier...? (Belgium wheat beer)

First impressions weren't that pleasing. :? Drinking it now after been cottled for several weeks. Quite pleasing, does resemble a Belgian wheat beer. Quite a mild flavour I find. :)

    Brewferm Diablo...?

For those of you that haven't tried, please do! :D I'm very happy with this Brewferm kit. If any one has Duvel you'll know what to expect. The Belgian's mask their percentages very well, this one is know exception! Kinda sweet but not overly so, even my Dad liked it.

    Woodforde's Wherry?

Damn good! VERY good, left it a few weeks in the barrel. Certainly helps, most pleased!! :drink: :drink: :drink:

    Woodforde's Wherry?

My Wherry is nearly clear. I was conditioning it out in my tin shed. I tried some didn't like the taste, so brought the barrel indoors. I've tried it again, and now drinking it. I'm happy with the taste, more or less like the pub stuff. Could do with being slightly colder, but not as cold as...
