    Woodfordes Admirals Reserve....?

Twelve degrees is a pretty damn good temperature I reckon. Well rounded for a decent taste for most Ale's. I reckon when Summer comes along it might be best to move to a cooler area if one's available? Yeah, temperature certainly affects taste.

    Cooper's Mexican Cerveza....?

I've been told brewing sugar isn't really necessary, though I've never used it. Just gone on hear say. I only made my Cerveza to around 3.75 Gallons. I also used 1300 grams rather than the recommended 1000 grams. I left it six weeks in the fermenter since I was lazy in getting around to...

    BlackRock Cider...?

O.G. at 1055. Should be reasonably pokey! Only made 4 Gallons added 300 grams of extra sugar. Taking it's time to ferment. At 1015 currently. Been in the fermenter a week and half.

    Morgan's Blue Mountain Lager...?

Not impressed.I shant be buying another Blue Mountain Lager kit. To much of that "homebrewy" taste to it. Not even cold storage/maturation made any difference.

    Woodfordes Admirals Reserve....?

Oh dear, not cleared in six when in bottles?Thats strange, and that it has a bitter taste. My Wherry was pretty close to that of the pub stuff. It should be slightly sweet and not all bitter. I used to place my ales in the garage or tin shed outside. Its too cold for em'.I found when I brought them...

    Woodfordes Admirals Reserve....?

Sounds like a pleasant return to homebrewing! I use six barrels and 180 and Im still drinking it before its ready! Sounds like Admirals Reserve is a winner!

    BlackRock Cider...?

This too is being fermented currently. Any ideas of what this cider kit comes out like? Anything similiar?

    Woodfordes Admirals Reserve....?

This one is in the fermenter now. I presume its a good brew, any one tried it? Taste like any of the other Woodfordes kits? If not similiar to anything else?

    Cooper's Mexican Cerveza....?

Ok,its ready! Huge apathy on my part when it came to bottling the brew.Left it six weeks in the fermenter before doing so!!! I suspected it d be flat! At first after secondary fermentation, tried a bottle,it was flat. Placed the bottles in the fridge, left it a week, absolutely fine!:-S Most...

    Most odd!!!! Any ideas...?

Chill haze eh...? Not heard of that term before, learn something every day! I did bring em' back inside, and yes they do clear within a few hours and the taste improves dramatically. I've noticed lagers don't seem to mind colder temperatures as the ales do.

    Most odd!!!! Any ideas...?

Going back to late last year I bottled Brewferm's Diablo, a strong amber Belgium Beer with final percentage of around 6.5-7%. After leaving a week in bottles for secondary fermentation, by which time it had cleared, I tried a small bottle, damn fine I thought. :) I preceeded to move all the...

    What do do with Wherry

My Wherry dropped to 1011-1012. I used to place my regular pressure barrels in the tin shed outside. The taste wasn't quite so good with many of the brews in barrels outside. Moved indoors, much better. The wherry still cleared, though I drank several pints before it did. Probably about six...

    Brupack kits, any good...?

Just purchased Colne Valley Bitter. I'm told it's pretty good. :)

    Cooper's Mexican Cerveza....?

I haven't looked, but judging by the airlock activity, I'd say not. It's got a couple of days yet. However, I've bottled at 1005 and slightly lower. I find despite priming sugar the yeast doesn't pick up again. I'll bottle at 1006-1008.

    Morgan's Blue Mountain Lager...?

For me the key is never to stop brewing, always have something in the fermenter. I generally consume a fair amount through the week, friends help to clear the bottles and barrels also! :| I made the mistake around Christmas/early January of leave the fermenter empty for a few weeks. Certainly...
