its was i sanitised on wed and today but i did put my hand in to try and find the bugger , it was clean cause i had just been doing the sanitising, is it ok to do that :wha:

i was just about to put the air lock in the top when i pushed it in the rubber seal it fell through the hole and into my brew i tried to find it but i could not find it any where , its about the size of a five pence and made of black rubber, will this ruin the brew , i really hope not :cry:

Use your dark malt extract and brewing sugar in a 50:50 mix that is what i got , so nearly there :rofl:

my first coopers stout kit any tips. i also got 500g of dark spray malt and 500g of brewing sugar. any tips :cheers:

im new to this as you can tell but what does pet mean , how do i know if they are or not

tesco spring water bottles they are really cheap, will they be ok for bottling beer. and if so will i have to bleach them or can i use them straight after i poor the water out.

im using a coopers micro brew kit and iv just done the first brew , now im going to be doing some stout, when priming the bottles i used carbonation drops which came with the kit and they say use 1 for 345-375ml bottles or 2 drops for 740-750ml bottles , if i can only get 300=330ml bottles or...

i want the carbonation to be good so if i leave them some where warm for 2 weeks and then in fridge for 1 week will that work, thanks for your help brewstew, have you any tips on my next brew coopers stout , i heard about spraymalts and other things that make it better :thumb:

iv just bottled my first coopers larger home brew kit and it is cloudy does it totaly clear in 2 weeks

hydrometer has stayed at 1011 for 2 days is it ok to bottle now im using the coopers larger kit and they say to start bottling when its at 1010 - 1008 . do i have to wait for longer, its been 6 days now
