just bottled a batch of tc and was going to start another one off with the same yeast cake but i look in and there was s ome small black bits in the bottom , which looked abit like black pepper, iv done a few tc brews now and never seen that before, so im thinking iv got a infection :?:

iv now tasted my first bottle of cherry ciderish and its very nice and clear loads of fizz and its 9% . 3L of cherry juice 1L of apple juice 290g of sugar wine yeast and i over primed them when i bottled to get extra fizz

is it nice and sour i love sour :grin:

when you say top up with water do you mean top up to 4 1/2 ltrs

has anyone mixed apple and orange juice 50/50. made like turbo cider, just wondered what it finished like. also i normaly let my turbo cider frement for about 4 days till i bottle, this time i left it 15 days anyone have any idea what it will be like :?:

i did a coopers stout kit with 500g of dark spray malt and 500g of brewing sugar its is really nice but not smooth, i was told the Milestones Black Pearl which you have already done was the best and smoothest kit.

left my turbo cider at room temp for a week after bottling and i couldnt hardly squeeze the pet bottles, so nice and carbonated , they have now been in the fridge for a couple of weeks and now i can squeeze the pet bottles with no effort. they are fizzy but would like a little more, just...

Most people who complain that they were as sick as a goat after a bad pint usually fail to mention the 12 other pints and the kebab they also had the night before. I still wouldn't drink it though. LOL

they didnt know i did it, i wont sell anything im not willing to drink myself, but my mates older brother used to drink the slopps buckets at the end of the night :sick:

when i worked behind a bar at our local football club, i always pulled a couple of pints off before i sold any and i will never have the first few pints if i go into a pub early i stick to bottles untill i know its been pulled through.
