    Cornelius two line beer chiller

When I drag my chiller out I'll take some pics as there are a few little additional bits and pieces I'm not quite sure of. On another note, my is opening a diner and the beer techs have just installed a brand new Evo70 chiller, and 4 faucets, looks like a nice bit of kit.

I think that's why I've never wanted a wort chiller, the thought of flushing all those watery pennies down the drain! I realize brewing sends my water meter round enough as it is.

    Degassing.. confussed

Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up (sorry about the pun) just added a campden tab and continuing to degas before adding the fining. I've topped it up the DJ to the leave about and inch or two head space. Just has a taste, and I'm not sure what to make of it, it's quite fruity, but it's very...

I've just got around to racking off my for apple and grape wine, it's been in the DJ now for nearly 5 weeks. I've started to degas with the hand and shake method and all seems to be going OK. @Chippy_Tea you mentioned that the fermentation should have only taken 7-10 days ish, If my next wine...

    Lobsters on the menu

Just popped down to the local petrol station and low and behold the lobsters are out already. Plenty of folks in shorts and vest looking radioactive bright red already. The lady behind the counter said to to the guy in front of me looking cool in his shades, vest and flip flops, ' ohhhhh you...

    Cornelius two line beer chiller

Ah I see. I'll go search for a Cornelius manual to get my head around the set up. I'm guessing that the chiller does not need to be on all of the time. would it be the type of system you could turn on a few mins before drawing of the beer, or would it need to be on longer? @Braindead I've...

I don't agree with strike action as a method to get one's own way. In my past profession industrial action as been called many times, but I chose not to participate in disruptive action.

    Cornelius two line beer chiller

Thanks both. I'll dig it out in the week an post some pics, yes mine needs a clean too. I noticed that when I moved the unit there was quite a lot of fluid sloshing about, and quite a bit came out, is this normal? I hope it wasn't the coolant you mentioned!! yikes!

I am under no illusion that there is something in the air (excuse the pun) with the state of the worlds climate. I'm not academically qualified to make any justified argument to support or refute the claims. (My Masters degree is in data comms) My original point is about the method of protest...

    Cornelius two line beer chiller

I've got my hands on a Cornelius chiller, the type you would find in a bar that does not have a cellar. Has anyone used one of these for home/beer cave, or had any experience setting it up?
