    No idea but the thermometer on the bin is saying it's currently 26 degrees, good or bad? The blow out tube has made a huge difference.

    Stout - no froth in the fermentation bin

    I am brewing the same thing but I have loads of froth and its pushing the lid up a lot and there is froth going in the air lock, is this normal? (it bent my lid big time, only started at 9pm last night)

    I have left it over night and the beer has loads of froth on top of it, it has caused to lid to bend a bit with loads of froth coming out of the air lock, is this normal, is the room temp to high?

    Thank you 31bb3, I was thinking it was going to totally ruin it. Do you know how long I should ferment it before putting it in the other barrel?

    Hello everyone, First time brewer and I thought I would start of with the above and I think I have ruined it already. Went through all the steps etc but I may have used to much sugar as I used 500g of Light Dry Malt and 1KG of normal granulated sugar :whistle: Have I totally messed it up?
