Having similar problems. It just doesnt work as an AIO. Complained to B2B also about the poor temperature control, leaking fittings and now i have also been advised to set boil temp to 103, which it never reaches, so having to use a seperate time. Oh and while I remember, I did whirlpool the wort before transfer, and what a difference it made. Probably only lost a few litres to the trub cone, but it was totally worthwhile.

Well its sealed up and airlocked, obviously as it cools, it will draw air in, but it is a worry that it will pul something else alongside this. I'll get it pitched as soon as possible though.

Thanks for the responses. It does at the moment, smell fantastic. left it to cool overnight, but it is still at 40c this morning. Will it be ok for a few more hours, or best to quick cool it now?

I also notice that the Grainfather temperature control, even when set at 103, is ****. Going from 100-99.

Couple of minutes later. Boiling. Once it gets to 83 it shoots up in temp.

Ok! Thanks for the confidence inspiring comments. Much appreciated. Smells ok. Like a flat hopped IPA. Taste? Is it ok to taste at this point? Assume so, or you wouldnt have said otherwise. Had a few bubbles out of it today. Just keep looking at it, hoping its going to be ok.

So an quick update and search for some advice. After a little bit of digging, its been suggested in some threads to "rouse" the yeast. I've done this by agitating the fermenter a little to see if any noticable change happens. After a few hours, started getting bubbles again, so it looks like...

OK, lots of great comments on here. I'll keep updating as it goes. Was bubbling away happily earlier today, but now seems to have stopped. Just going to check a few things, but after the temp spike at 26 yesterday, it's now back to 22.
