    Kegged up but when should I add CO2

    Put the one with co2 injector on as if you do it later air can get into brew while swapping over. Drinking; Wilko's Hoppy Copper Bitter Conditioning; Olde Treacle Ale Brewing; Woodfords Wherry

    Thanks for all help, just stuck in the old hydromiter and got a good 1.000 started with 1.049 so it has done its bit without it letting us know (cheeky cheeky) just bottled it, so now its a waiting game. Only did a gallon due to peolpe saying its not a great tasting brew :pray: There was a 1"...

    Not noticed any, only thing i can think of wrong was putting yeast in while it was still quite warm, could this kill the yeast or start it early? :oops:

    Treacle ale???

    I have a slightly different treacle ale recipe; 225g golden syrup 225g black treacle 225g demerara sugar 30g hops 4.5lts water beer yeast & nutrient. Boil all ingrediants excecp yeast & nutriant for 45 mins strain and stand to cool to 21 deg add yeast & nutient and ferment for at least a week...
