Definitely better bet

This morning I left the bottom screen and seal in the freezer put the basket in the strike water and used sanitiser . It worked better but still couple of attempts to get it seated right . The joys of brewing

I did try that before but unfortunately the screen is too small with out the seals and it end up moving and letting grain through. I have been looking at other cheaper options and apparently the Brewzilla Gen 4 Malt pipe fits the G30 though I have only seen this from one source ons a USA reddit...

Back after a period if not brewing forgot how much I hated the silicone seals on my G30. I see they have a new malt pipe out though a tad expensive . Is it worth the extra ? Are there cheap options as I do like the idea of losing the overflow pipe
