I think so I got into watching all grain videos on YouTube and wanted to jump straight to it, but one video doing an explainer said good fermenting and conditioning can make bad beer taste good, but bad fermenting will make good beer taste bad, so basically work backwards sort out fermenting skills and if you're buying new kit start buying from the end backwards. Actually makes sense.
Hopefully, that is the plan, but it seems the more I learn the more there is to learn. Enjoying it so far.

It was almost twenty years ago in another lifetime, but I remember being pleased with it. I brewed it again a few years ago with a dry hop and it was decent.
