I’m starting with my own beer tonight and this is a cask bitter.
Last of the Lidl fest beer box, has been enjoyed.
Passed a CoOp which was closing down and had 30% of beer. Grabbed a couple of 4 packs.

My Belgian Single
I’m trying a small experiment by drinking my Doppelbock from a wineglass. The Doppelbock is 8.8% so is strong enough (maybe) to be drunk like a wine. The objective is to drink two or three pints of an evening rather than five or six - my version of dry January! It is a bit moreish though 
Is that after a jolly up all afternoon in the ale house?

After 3 soul destroying night shifts I'm sitting in in front of the fire with a pint of stout. Can't complain.
No work tomorrow, woo hoo. All but one of my patients cancelled because of the storm. I cancelled the other one.

So far my cunning plan seems to be working with these higher gravity beers. Belgian Dubbel next.

They have some really nice Beers
I forgot how good Old Peculiar is (no I’ve not added a dash of Hendos) when it’s kept and served well.
