Thanks, I had my doubts about the different threads!

So what's the thread size on a quick connect, e.g. a ball lock disconnect on my corny?

If you check out the Malt Miller site…

They refer to the thread as 7/16 thread. The thread is also referred to as 1/4 FFL….

You can see a 1/4 FFL has a 7/16”- 20UNF thread, hence the reference to 7/16.

I've bought a 3/8 BSP to 1/4 push fit off ebay, closest I could find. Just now need a 1/4 to 3/8 bush which I can pick up at local plumbing merchant, and a length of 1/4 OD tube which I'm sure I have anyway.

Forget you got the wrong one. Get those @Buffers brewery linked. They're Vyair, not John Guest, but I wouldn't have JG if they were half the price (even at 1/2 price they'd still be more than anyone else's anyway and will probably break on assembling). You don't want adapters so you can use the wrong sized adapter!

@Buffers brewery: Sorry, missed that post of yours (I missed it 'cos I thought I hadn't  ).

Think you might have got the wrong one ashock1. The gauge you've got has a 1/4 BSP thread so a 3/8 BSP won't fit. (Well it will but it won't stay put 😂). The link I sent you gives you the option of a 1/4 BSP that will fit your gauge and a 3/8 push fit to match your pipe. No adaptors necessary just some PTFE tape on the gauge thread.

Unfortunately at £14 shipping it's a no-go. |Had a search on Ebay and cant find any other instances of the same fitting :(
