Fair play to the packers in beer 52. They have them all the same so far (only day 3 but hey) decorating the tree then having mine and possibly a Bailey’s

When I say decorating the tree I mean standing there looking interested and handing my wife the wrong bauble and getting a scowling look

drinking them every night is more responsible than binge drinking. The statistics on that are shocking. And it’s like training for the Christmas holidays.
A beer a day is good for you - I read that in a Charlie Bamforth book.

I bought myself the Fullers one, got bored of the craft ones so will be nice to have some reliable beers. It has the vintage beers from 2019 and one 2024 looking forward to those particularly. Not been home yet though

That one caught my eye as well some good decent beers in that.
Yes the Fullers one looks good if you are going to buy for yourself, especially after the 1st when it is discounted.

See this is how different taste is.
This one is a bit thin on first sip and looking at it it’s only 3.8% so barely stronger that water. Very little head but it’s been in the garage and is very cold.
I preferred the sour.

Just noticed this thread, here's my Beer Republic advent calendar (had it last year and was blown away with it). They're all American beers.

I remember having the Maui Coconut Porter a few times about 13/14 years ago and was also blown away with it. Unfortunately don't see as much US beer here as you did in those days. I suppose given the explosion of smaller breweries here, the need/demand to import has reduced.

I don’t drink during the week normally but this is an annual exception. More importantly my wife says nothing as it’s my daughter and her boyfriend that buy me it
Tell us more about the toasted lager when that’s drunk?
Strong finish to the week, I didn’t know Czech dark larger was called Tmave Pivo before.
