I am yet to hear the police kicking his door down in a early morning raid.
Trial by social media
Trial by social media
Tbh. Bite your lip. Apologise, be humble, say you will get help and people will forgive & FORGET and your career will survive.
Absolutely. That tactic only works as a first move.... Or Jimmy Carr'sI think it's gone too far for that he screwed himself by basically accusing middle class white women of ganging. up on him then apologising for saying it.
He has not helped himself I think in terms of the BBC he is done but well look at the number of so called celebs who have went to other channels who think the risky of high profile will help viewing figures.
As said its still all unfounded allegations as present
The last stop on the way down the toiletHe'll be presenting GB News by Easter.
Im betting they will be more delboy than celebOne thing he will find out is, who his real friends are
Benny Hill was on TV donkeys years ago (and wasn't funny then) and his stuff wouldn't be shown now, and isn't repeated afaik. Jimmy Carr has to adapt his persona and material for tv.
Plus, there's a difference between shock humour and behaviour that is about a guy getting his own kicks in a workplace situation by making women feel very uncomfortable. Behaviour that is completely out of sync with the times, everyone knows it's out of order, people just don't seem to know how to deal with it or manage it, when it happens.
Management needs to respond to complaints and deal with them when they happen, to avoid a situation like this. Trial by media has only occurred because of management failings. I imagine GW has become bolder over time because nobody dealt with it effectively.
There were 13 allegations a few days ago and more coming forward, including Sir Rod Stewart and Kirsty Wark. In front of a jury he'd be in trouble, if he had/has commited a criminal offence. It's not one person's word against another's, it's lots of people. I doubt anybody wants a him hung drawn and quartered, but it's reasonable to flag up bad behaviour and ask why nothing has been done about it. He no doubt sails close to the wind, not really assaulting anybody but he seems to get off on a sort of sexual intimidation that shouldn't happen at work. Or anywhere else for that matter. IMHO.Not saying you are wrong but I have concerns that in this day and age there has been no proof offered and all seems to be historic allegations or 3rd hand as I say happy to retract this once the investigations ordered by the production company have concluded.
All I am saying in in the last 20 years how many scandals or expose have you seen or heard that do not feature a sound clip, video clip, screen shot or picture from a mobile? This seems to be missing this case, or so it would seem, on the other hand the press are normally careful what they say to avoid legal repercussions so there may be something we have not seen..
Either way trail by media is toxic and will prejudice any legal proceedings if it goes that way.
I don't recall any videos or photos of Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby and other high profile cases. I may be wrong and have missed them, but just have never seen or heard of any. Coincidentally in Weinstein's case, the initial accusations came from 12 women. All I am saying in in the last 20 years how many scandals or expose have you seen or heard that do not feature a sound clip, video clip, screen shot or picture from a mobile? This seems to be missing this case, or so it would seem,
