Hi all, I am a small home brewer, using CJJ Berry's recipe book and make very drinkable ales using various LME, hops and yeasts the best I can source.

I will be doing a partial mash this weekend and let you know how it goes, I am located the the Kingdom of North Sussex near Gatwick, we do not have a brew shop nearby.

Best regards to all

Peter

Hi all now using a 35 litre didgi boil kettle with the malt pipe and false bottom, for BIAB exclusively British ales, particularly a Harvey's Sussex Best & Timothy Taylor Landlord tributes, Malt hops, yeast and water plus AMS 60 minute mash, 30 minute boil, cool in a HDPE cube overnight and pressure fermentation, spunding valve set at 6 PSI, had very good reviews from friends real ale fans and family. I use Brewfather for recipes.

Love Berry's "First Steps in Wine Making". It's the only book I've ever used. I've got a copy of his brewing book, not as up to date as yours, and it makes me shudder.
Glad to see he lived well into his 80s in spite of all the wine and beer he must have stowed away.
Welcome here.
