Seen this in the fridge for take away. Couldn’t resist. Hard to get a stout in Vancouver

'evening all,
rapid overview of tonight's tipple.
1st up QC of still clearing new brew of Kent Gold.
So malty rich. Golden rich in fact.
Confession: I mashed the grain in too hot, so I might have altered the brew character, at FG 1011 was unintentionally high.
Oh well, still learning.
But the rich malty mouth filling flavour is amazing.

Successive Westerham Spirit of Kent.
Lovely session palate cleansing beer.

Finisher,
Fuller's Golden Pride.
Well it is cold out there.
An amazing bottled beer.
8.5% and full of treacle toffee goodness.
Night night all.

Nice! Never been to the Stanley Park Brewing Co. but I've been the the Granville Island small batch brewery on Granville Island a few times.
Stanley park one is really nice.
Granville island brewery has a few nice beers but lacks any atmosphere I think. Plenty of vary good brewery’s around the Vancouver area. Best one was steamworks in gas town. Main Street has one every 3 mins and we were in a few of them last night.

Indeed. I love the Steamworks one. I had a nice beer called Nut Brown there once.
I haven't been in Vancouver for a few years but used to go quite regularly with work.

Enjoy the rest of your trip. :beer1:
