I did dry hop with roughly crushed, roasted coffee beans, making this a coffee porter. IIRC i used 180g of beans for 2 days, which I think was plenty - and I'm a fan of big flavours.
Oh that sounds a smart idea - I've not heard of a dry hop with coffee beans before - did they sink with yeast flocs or just float?

Errrrr. I can't recall exactly tbh.

I think I probably sanitised a hop sock of sorts and dangled it in.

[EDIT: Here I am referring to the dry bean that I did with my Pippin's Coffee Porter, but I also did the same with this pastry stout. ]
