If you want to see the carnage of the day, I've made an album which I will probably be adding to during the day:

I need to record that Ampersand Brew Co, our hosts, are the best people. As the live stream finished, Andy (owner), got out a selection of his best and rarest beers : 'Experiments in Evil: brandy barrel aged impy' and 'Barrel aged saison on Bacchus grape skins' - sharing them with all present to celebrate.

I've got a can of Experiments in Evil in the garage which has been there since I came home from last years comp!!!

Need to be in the right frame of mind to crack it open at 10.5%.

I do wish they would rebrew their Jamaican Gingerbread Stout, which I remember fondly from one of our other visits to Ampersand.

One of my favourite photos of the comp is this one of @stripeyjoe judging the irish styles.

And we are now wrapped up for another year, so our thoughts turn to evaluation.

If you were an entrant/winner/judge/steward please do MESSAGE me any constructive feedback.

You could consider:

- communication with entrant/judge/steward/winners
- use of the BJCP 'semi structured' scoresheet
- prizes
- entrant experience
- winner experience
- judge experience
- steward experience

Last year we sampled, and got some useful stuff that we implemented this year. Always learning...

Thanks all, Martin
