One more try with supermarket water and a few other adjustments. Is this good enough to start with?

Mangrove Jacks Brewers Series 40 Pint Pale Ale
Mangrove Jacks 1.5kg Pure Liquid Malt Extract - Light
Carbonation Drops

What could go wrong? Malt extract as opposed to brewing sugar? I don't think there are any hops involved. Carbonation drops for ease. It's still less than a quid a bottle.

Have a go.
Careful with the star of the bottle and the carbonation drops. Make sure you follow the instructions. Apart from that sounds OK.

Dunno, it’s chalky and I have already brought it. It’s sitting in garage.
